We're looking forward to Christmas in Denmark's largest nature park. We are having a holly jolly time in Fredericia and Middelfart, with a gingerbread town, the largest mistletoe in the kingdom and Christmas concerts.
If not this year, then maybe we will see you next Christmas?
If you're in Denmark, escape the hustle and bustle of the big cities, and go Christmas shopping in Fredericia and Middelfart, for some safe Christmas shopping. All of our shops go out of their way to make sure all corona safety restrictions are being followed. Feel the Christmas cheer at the cafés and restaurants, with a cup of glögg og the traditional Christmas treat æbleskiver.

If you're staying at home, but already dreaming of future Christmas get aways, this years' programme may inspire you.....
This year, Fredericia will be brightly lit with thousands of Christmas lights. The town hall will be wrapped and ready and de-light-ful deer will greet you in the streets. In the Christmas pop-up shops, you can buy mulled wine, sugar almonds and the traditional pastry æbleskiver.
Fredericia will be full of things to do this December. Take a ride on the Christmas train, enjoy music in the streets and much more. See the whole Christmas programme - everything is planned with COVID-19 safety in mind. Changes will be announced at www.visitlillebaelt.dk/jul-i-fredericia
Visit the Christmas exhibition with decorated trees, Christmas table settings, Christmas decorations and presents. This year, there will be twenty tables with porcelain and sets on show for the first time. In the café you can enjoy a cup of coffee and delicious cakes and pastry.
Around here you're never far from forests, beaches and the sea. Bring your best hiking boots and wander off on the many hiking trails in the area. Visit our two local deer parks to add a bit of wildlife to your winter walks.
