Ceramics is the encounter between nature and man. The clay has been underway on a wondrous journey, where the heavy, coarse material is transformed into the fine, delicate expression, we call ceramics. Age-old techniques are used for working with the clay. But the shape, colour and imagination changes every time.
I let my fingerprints give life to the ceramics. And use the contrast between the solid bottom and the fine edges at the top of the work as the dramatic element. My bowls and dishes feature new discoveries. The two sides differ from each other. The ceramic material and three layers of glaze each time creates new experiences for people watching.
Take a look inside and see clay turn into ice floes and oyster shells and more.
