Fredericia and Middelfart are located in the heart of Denmark, right in the wonderful nature of Nature Park Lillebælt og close to a range of Denmark's biggest attractions. Getting here is easy and convenient. You will reach with just about 1 hours drive from the german border, about 3 hours from the ferry ports in Hirtshals and Frederikshavn and just under 2 hours from Copenhagen.
Because of our central location, the infrastructure in the Little Belt area is very good. Whether you arrive by public transport, plane or car it is fast and easy to get here.
Both national and regional trains go through Fredericia and Middelfart several times an hour. From the train stations in both towns, it is easy to reach accommodation. Upon arriving by train, local buses and taxis depart from the station. Car rental and limousine rental is also an option. See more below.
From the Little Belt area you will less than 1 hours drive to Billund Airport - an international airport with multiple daily departures and arrivals from a lot of bigger European cities.
At the train station in Middelfart, it is possible to rent city bikes to reach your hotel on two wheels or go for a ride along the coast. In Fredericia, you can pre-book rented bikes from Cykelservice Fredericia and in most cases, you can arrange for the bikes to be delivered at the train station.
