Distance to The Little Belt

How to get to the Little Belt

Right in the heart of Denmark

The Little Belt area is located right in the middle of Denmark, which makes it easy for you to get here. It is only just over an hour's drive from the German border, approx. 3 hours from the ferries in Hirtshals and Frederikshavn and less than a 2-hour drive from Copenhagen.

The infrastructure in the area is good, and whether you decide to come by public transport, plane or car, it is easy to make your way here and around once you're here.

The Little Belt area is well-connected. Several trains run to Fredericia and Middelfart stations every hour, and accommodation can be found close to the stations in both towns. From the train stations, you can continue via bus or taxi. It is also possible to rent a car or book limousine services.

Billund Airport is less than an hour from the Little Belt area.  The airport has numerous daily arrivals and departures to major European cities.

At Middelfart Station you can quickly rent a bicycle for travelling to the town’s hotels or taking a bike ride along the Little Belt waters. You can also pre-order bicycles at ‘Cykelservice’ in Fredericia and in most cases you can arrange for them to be delivered to the station.
